Here we have step two of the Poker Night illustration. Well, closer to a step three, because step two was to apply a wash of brownish color over the entire sketch to give me a neutral starting point. I then went in and painted the darks in. Here I started painting the lighter values and skin tones, which look fine in person but scan as a bright yellowy color. I'll be adjusting that as the painting progresses.
