Before starting, we’ll set up a meeting to discuss the scope of the work and share as much information as possible:

Aside from your needs (such as a logo or a website), we’ll be discussing:

• • What are the dimensions?
• • Is there a specific budget?
• • What is the deadline for completion?
• • Can you provide examples of design you like?
• • Will corporate branding dictate the design?

After initial consultation and agreement that GabrielUtasi.com will be used for your design/illustration needs, up to 50% payment may be due to reserve project development time. After initial designs are approved when development begins, 50% payment is required.

Examples of your favorite work may be used as inspiration, but the goal is to come up with something new and different that will separate your company from the rest. Before developing concepts, simple sketches of the layout are presented and reviewed.

After approval of sketches, the actual design phase begins. Usually two versions of the approved sketch will be presented for finalization. This gives you some options and allows you to combine your favorite elements from either. After this round of design it isn’t uncommon to have a couple minor changes before reaching a final design.

With the approval of these ideas the final design is started, which once revised, will be your final piece. Payment in full will be due upon completion. You will own the work outright that has been created by Gabriel Utasi Designs. This will allow you to apply any design to any future medium without paying royalties or fees for such usage.
