Paint my portrait
This could be fun. I came up with this idea and have few details except that I think it would be fun. Maybe keep the dimentions at exactly 8″ x 8″ in case a lot of people are interested in this. The idea would be to get 20 or 30 or 40 portraits, you send me yours of me, then I get a gallery show and I compare them with the what I painted of you as a barteri, then I send you your portrait after it’s over. Even if you can’t draw or paint, you’ll have the opportunity to potentially possibly perhaps have a gallery show and become famous (not guaranteed at all).
All this, and I want some practice painting quick portraits.
All you have to do is use my profile photo or any other photo of me you can find that looks like me and we’ll get this started.

The portrait style would probably be loose like the cat painting at the bottom of my portrait page, but will look like you! Portraits by Gabe.

Does it have to be paint? And does it have to be of you? Can I do a pencil drawing of my cat instead and send that? My cat looks like you a little bit.

Yes, it has to be me, and I’m thinking yours will be you, or maybe a cat that looks like you. Perhaps I’ll do a cat project next. It doesn’t have to be paint. Just 8″ x 8″ so it looks cool when there are a ton together hanging in a swanky Scottsdale gallery. I’ll send e-mails out to whoever replies with my personal e-mail so you can send a photo, or I’ll just snag one I like off your facebook.

I am going to talk to my three year old daughter about this one, I think she will be up for giving it a shot. She is a great arteest. We will work on this one!

How much??? It’s an even trade! I’ve really slacked on the idea of this project, but I’m hoping to get 8″x8″ portraits of me painted in trade for the same thing.

I don’t fear paint…I’ve been working mostly 3-D so it would be nice to brush up with some paint. I’ll try to see what pics I have of you tucked in my AAC photo binder. let me know if you’re still doing this project.

Yeah, I need to totally start this project back up. I really want to make it like I intended, where I paint all the portraits, and collect all the portraits of me at the same time, have a gallery show, and then you can have yours I painted of you.
